What are working holiday visas?
Although I have a more in-depth article that answers this question below, the thing to know about working holiday visas is that they are a common type of gap year that people take. They are visas that allow you to live and work for up to 1 year (some destinations allow up to 2 or 3) as a way to experience the lifestyle and culture in a youth exchange. It’s typically aimed at 18 to 30-year-old travellers (a few up to 35) from selected countries. They are primarily travel visas, but the government allows you to work in order to supplement your travels for the duration of the visa!
